Welcome!
We have been breeding under the Runderkraal prefix in Australia for over
20 years, firstly showing and breeding Rottweilers and then later Bull
Mastiffs after receiving one from my husband as a birthday gift.
We decided against continuing with the Rottweilers and started to show and
breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Over the years we have bred and shown many
Champions of these two breeds. I hope to bring some of those early dogs to these
pages after we establish the Dogue de Bordeaux pages.
Eight years ago , just after the Dogue de Bordeaux was recognised by
the Australian National Kennel Control , we imported our first Dogue de
Bordeaux. She was American lines ,and with so few Dogues in
Australia to choose a breeding partner from, we decided to import our first
European stud dog.
Ismar, was our first import, he arrived from France and is now
nine years old. He has given us many beautiful puppies, you can see from the
following pages that our love affair with this breed just goes on.
We would like to thank Annie Wright for our first Dogue de Bordeaux, also
many thanks to our friends in Europe who have helped us with the purchasing of
our imported dogs.
